Humans spend almost 30 percent of their life sleeping. In 1879, American electrician Thomas Edison invited light bulb. It was amazing, so we could use light anytime. In addition, it was revolutionary incident. In particular for people in developed countries, daily life has changed dramatically in several ways. For example, modern people can work and play through night. However, then a new problem arose about human health.
In modern society, office workers tend to work overtime. The reason why they work overtime is the invention of light. There are many advantages for our life. Of course the light is necessity. If it didn’t invent, we can’t act, use cars and see something. In contrary, because of invention we can do whatever I want at night.
In my case, recently, I often play with my friend through night. For example, we go to “Round1”to play bowling. It is very enjoyable. Afterwards, we go to school next day. I think it’s bad for our bodies. Also, our natural diel rhythm is broken. The light is certainly important item but to play at night is not good for our bodies at all. When I play through night, I can’t concentrate on class. I think that physical tiredness and brain tiredness are same.
Recently, we work and play late night. As a result, there are few differences between required rhythm and body’s rhythm. As a result, problems arise about human health. Of course insomnia. In addition, when we stay up, our thinking ability is lower than regular people.
I think that sleep is most important for humans. We should try to change our sleep habit. If we are deprive of sleep, we can’t act as usual. I tend to change my life style during long vacation because I’m not tired. Sleeping is help us to spend a good time.
